Dr. John Poe

The John Poe Memorial Partner Award is given to someone who makes a difference in the day-to-day work of public health veterinarians across the country, or who has been instrumental in furthering the work of NASPHV, and who has made significant contributions to veterinary public health.

Nominations for the award may be made by any NASPHV member and awardees are confirmed by the Executive Board. The award winner is announced at the NASPHV annual business meeting.

 

The NASPHV Partner Award was first given in 2013. It was renamed in memory of Dr. John Poe, who was the State Public Health Veterinarian in Kentucky at the time of his death in 2016.
